A message from John Wayne "Jack" Schlatter ...One night I had a dream that compelled me to gather all of my observations, experiences and stories together and write this book. This book is a journey I share with you as we discover and come to appreciate all of the many gifts left by wonderful people we have never met. Sir Isaac Newton said, "If I have seen farther than most men, it is because I have stood on the shoulders of giants." It is my prayer that these stories and observations may lead you gentle readers to the discovery of the giants within you - giants of talent, courage, creativity and compassion - and inspire you to leave your Gifts by the Side of the Road ... Fast forward to 2011, when Mary Robinson Reynolds finally found me after several years of searching for me with the intention of putting my collection of stories into flash movies. Together, as seasoned, successful Difference Makers, we have teamed up with movies, mini-posters, books and workshops to Make A World of Difference with what we know is possible within every one of us.
